Apple on Thursday rolled out a new Apple Music feature that notifies users of new releases directly in the app's Library tab, exposing listeners to the latest albums, tracks and videos from their favorite artists.
Dear Spotify, can we have an option to show a notification when the song changes? Just like on the Android Version. I think a little notification about the artist and the song title for a few seconds won't hurt people. Honesly I really like autoplay feature that can play similar songs when the music ends. I've developed an app which I'd like to share with everyone. It's called 'NowPlaying'. NowPlaying is an app which enables iTunes and Spotify track change notifications in Mountain Lion's notification center. What's even better is that it is tiny (it uses hardly any CPU and less than 8MB ram!). Windows 10 and Mac devices have their own standalone Spotify apps. The Spotify Lyrics is currently rolling out to desktop users as well, after Android and iPhone users. To get full sing lyrics on Spotify on your computer, click on the Microphone icon button on the player control bar, left to the Queue button.
The feature, which is currently rolling out to Apple Music subscribers, is accessible via a pop-up page that asks users to enable notifications for updates about new music releases.
